You will be trained in a myriad of styles, types, and facets of yoga in this 300 hour training! With a focus on the asana and self reflection, you will take your yoga training to the next level. A 300 hour training is for people who already have their 200 hour certification from any yoga school that is accredited by yoga alliance and adding another 300 hours so you can register as a RYT 500.

Advanced training designed to take you deeper into your knowledge and practice, our 300/500 modular training program is perfect for busy Yogis. Our program is designed to be self-paced with a pay-as-you-go format to the training modules. With Open Enrollment, you can start your journey at any time!

YTT 300-hour Program Overview

Each module is paid for separately online and you can pick and choose your modules so long as you finish 250 hours within 36 months (3 years) from your initial start date. Each module on average costs approximately $400 with early bird registration pricing available. Most modules average 25 hours that add up towards your 300 hour total. The modules usually take place over the weekend (to include Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday hours). The exact details with pricing, hours, and dates of each module is available under each individual module.

Additionally, you will be required to present a 2-hour workshop to the public for another 25 hours of credit and finally participate in a one week internship with us for your remaining 25 hours.

Begin your self-led journey by paying the $25 non-refundable application fee (step 10 and filling out the application below (step 2). This $25 fee will be waived if you completed your YTT 200-hour training with Sin City Yoga.

Once accepted, to begin your YTT 300/500-hour journey you will need to register with a $225 non-refundable registration fee. This fee covers one-on-one time for development of your workshop, classroom assisting hours, internship hours, training materials, and completion fees. From there, you self-design your learning experience by selecting your modules.

Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. Please note that there will be no refunds or discounts for starting late, leaving early, not attending, or illness.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to be a yoga teacher to attend these training modules?

No, you do not have to be a teacher. Everyone is welcome! These modules are designed to deepen your experience as a yoga practitioner and to provide tools and skills for sharing the practice with others. For some modules, there may be a suggested reading that will support the material covered. For those looking to deepen their practice, sign up directly for each module.

Can I apply a 200-hr from another school of yoga?

We will accept all applicants of registered Yoga Alliance 200-hour trainings. Depending on the nature of the yoga school you attended you may be given extra study materials in order to be prepared for the material in these modules.

What are the pre-requisites for attending this training?

If you are doing this to deepen your understanding and practice of yoga, you must have a regular asana practice and a commitment to the work entailed. If you are doing this training as a 300-hour certification, you must have a 200-hour certificate.

How will I know if I am accepted into the program?

Within 1 week of paying your application fee and emailing us, you will hear back from us.

How long will it take to complete the 300-hour modules?

You can complete the program at your pace and based on your particular interests. Typically, modules will be offered monthly. Most modules average 25 hours that add up towards your 300 hour total and take place over the weekend (to include Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday hours). You have up to 36 months (3 years) to complete the 250 hours.

How much do the modules cost?

The cost depends on the topic and length of module; however, early bird registration prices are available. Please check each individual module for the exact pricing.

About Angelica, E-RYT 500, Lead Trainer

Angelica is the owner of Urban Tribe Yoga an International Yoga Teacher Training Program. She has been practicing yoga for almost 30 years and has trained with some of the most respected names in yoga. She received her 500 hour training from Doug Swenson and has studied with Seane Corn, Shiva Rea, Patricia Walden, Sharon Gannon, and the Dharma Mittra, just to name a few. Angelica has facilitated over 15 yoga teacher trainings around the world and helped hundreds of people follow their dream to becoming a yoga teacher. She has taught for Yoga Journal and been featured in ads for Lululemon, Lucy Activewear, and Lorna Jane Activewear. You will find Angelica to be an approachable teacher with a warm smile and a big hug. Her teaching style will help you push their practice to the next level from both a physical and emotional space.

About Becky, RYT 500, Co-Lead Trainer

Becky has been practicing various forms of yoga for over 15 years. She found her passion for yoga after completing physical therapy after a military injury. She received her 500-hour training at Sin City Yoga with Angelica Govaert and has assisted in three 200 hour teacher trainings in Las Vegas. She has practiced under Janet Stone, Seane Corn, Shiva Rea, Elena Brower, Eoin Finn, Sara Phelan, Mary Beth LaRue, Derek Cook, and more.

She has a zest for learning and loves to share and gain knowledge. She is a clinical pharmacist, professor, NASM certified personal trainer, TRX trainer, ACE fitness nutrition specialist and is certified in Reiki I and Trauma Recovery Yoga. Currently, she is in the process of becoming an ayurvedic wellness counselor to compliment her yoga teaching. As an university professor for 10 years, she will provide a highly organized yoga curriculum with a focused attention to detail.

Becky is excited to share the transformational impact that yoga has on your physical, emotional, and spiritual health. She creates a positive, supportive, and calming space for students to practice in. Additionally, she fosters an environment to allow you to build a relationship between your body, mind, and breath in order to release your daily stress. Throughout each class, she aims to share her passion for yoga along with a dose of gratitude, smiles, and laughs.

About Natasha, RYT 200, Co-Trainer

Natasha has been practicing various forms of Yoga for over 20 years. She is certified in Trauma Recovery Yoga and is currently studying to become a NASM certified personal trainer. She discovered Yoga in law school, finding that living with a Yogic state of mind perfectly matched how she chooses to interact with the world. Natasha is an attorney, mom, animal lover and overall ladyboss who turned to her decades' long dream of teaching Yoga because she firmly believes in making its mind and body enhancing benefits accessible to everyone.

Teaching and mentoring are her passions. She is adept in various modalities of Yoga, has a keen understanding of physiology and takes a special interest in Yoga's impact on the mind-body connection. Natasha is patient and attentive and truly enjoys sharing her knowledge with others. Taking from the demands she experiences daily and sees with others, she meticulously plans her classes with the intention that her classes inspire you to challenge your body and your brain with the goal of finding a balanced life as well as to conquer the mundane to embrace your joy within. Natasha's goal is to motivate you to discover how Yoga is limitless in how it can compliment your own life regardless of age or ability.
